About Asteroid Outrun
Asteroid Outrun is an original vector-style space survival game. Pilot a triangular ship through a field of drifting asteroids with true momentum physics: thrust builds speed, nothing slows you down but your own engines, and the screen wraps at every edge. Shoot big rocks to split them into smaller, faster ones, dodge the hunter saucer, and use hyperspace as a last resort. Waves escalate until the whole screen is a glowing rock storm.

How to Play
- Rotate the ship and thrust to move. You keep drifting until you counter-thrust.
- Shoot asteroids to split them: large → medium → small → gone.
- Fly off any edge and you reappear on the opposite side. So do the rocks.
- A saucer appears periodically and shoots at you. Destroy it for a big bonus.
- Hyperspace teleports you somewhere random. It's risky, but it beats dying.
- Clear every rock to advance to the next, bigger wave. Earn an extra life every 10,000 points.

- Space, X or J — fire

- Rotate buttons on the left

Tips & Strategies
- Small taps of thrust beat long burns. Momentum is your enemy as much as the rocks.
- Small asteroids are worth the most points but move the fastest. Clear them before splitting more big ones.
- Park near the centre and rotate to shoot. Most deaths come from flying into something off-screen.
- The small saucer aims directly at you. Stay moving when you hear its engine.
