About Hyperlane Dogfight

Hyperlane Dogfight is an original first-person cockpit shooter in the spirit of the 1983 vector space-combat cabinets. Strap into a starfighter and fly straight into the enemy: hexagonal drones swarm toward your canopy, dart fighters strafe and shoot back, asteroids tumble through the hyperlane, and every fifth sector a Dreadnought capital ship blocks the route until you blow out all five of its turrets. Twin cannons converge on your reticle, shields recharge if you stop taking hits, and a barrel roll makes you untouchable for a heartbeat. Chain kills without taking damage to multiply your score.

Cockpit Shooter Difficulty: Hard Mobile friendly Est. 1983

How to Play

  1. Fly the ship up, down, left and right. The world banks and tilts around your canopy.
  2. Line an enemy up in the centre reticle. Green brackets mean it's in your firing cone.
  3. Hold fire: the twin cannons alternate and converge on the reticle.
  4. Dodge the red bolts. Shields absorb hits and regenerate after 3 seconds without damage.
  5. Barrel roll (B / Z) for a brief invulnerable dodge. It recharges in 4 seconds.
  6. Drones that slip past the canopy count as a breach and reset your streak.
  7. Every 5th sector: destroy all five Dreadnought turrets to clear the route.
  8. Lose all shields and you lose a hull point. Three hull points and you're dust.
