About Brick Blaster '89
Brick Blaster '89 is an original brick-breaking arcade game with chunky pixel bricks, satisfying paddle physics and a stack of power-ups. Bounce the ball off your paddle to smash through eight hand-designed levels of colour-coded bricks: some take multiple hits, some are indestructible, and some explode. Catch falling capsules for a wider paddle, multi-ball, laser cannons, a sticky paddle, or a slow-motion ball. Chain hits without touching the paddle to multiply your score.
Brick Breaker Difficulty: Medium Mobile friendly Est. 1989
How to Play
- Move the paddle to keep the ball in play. Lose the ball and you lose a life.
- Where the ball hits the paddle controls its angle: the edges send it out sharp, the centre sends it straight up.
- Clear every breakable brick to advance. Silver bricks need two hits; gold bricks are indestructible.
- Catch the capsules: E (expand), M (multi-ball), L (laser), S (slow), C (catch), X (extra life).
- Each consecutive brick hit without touching the paddle raises the combo multiplier.

Tips & Strategies
- Aim for the sides of the wall early. Getting the ball above the bricks earns huge combos as it bounces around the top.
- The slow capsule is the most valuable late-level power-up. Grab it even if it looks boring.
- Multi-ball spawns three balls. You only lose a life when the last one falls.
- Laser cannons fire in pairs straight up. Line up under a column of silver bricks and let rip.
